Julia at a Spring Show

“Receiving a beautiful card in my mailbox always makes me feel special,” says Frink, “I hope when others receive my cards they feel special, too.”

“I take pictures so others can see and share the beauty of God’s creation,” says Frink, “What better way to share beauty and make someone feel special than to send a photo card.”

“Staying in touch is really important for maintaining relationships", says Frink, “In today’s world of impersonal e-mail and instant messaging, pretty cards offer a way to show you care and brighten someone’s day.”

Living in a picturesque lakeside community, Julia is inspired daily by the natural beauty surrounding her. She enjoys photography, painting, writing, cooking, singing, and feeding the visiting ducks and geese.

Beginning in childhood, Julia enjoyed art projects and correspondence. She began painting at age two. As she grew older she spent hours making cards and illustrating her creative stories. Collecting colorful postage stamps became another one of her pursuits with the encouragement and assistance of her father. Julia’s mother encouraged her to regularly write to family members and pen pals in Europe. Receiving cards and letters in the mailbox has always excited Julia.

With her love of beautiful cards and writing to family and friends, Julia has always dreamed of starting her own card company. After successfully exhibiting her photographs at a church sponsored art show, she began to prepare for creating her own card company. Julia-Studio is the fulfillment of her dream.

Her Master of Science degree in Management Science is from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. Her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a concentration in Fine Arts is from California State University, Northridge.
